WHAT IS HAPPENING?
Environmental Hazards Management will be removing 48 Square Feet of Exterior Transite and Fireproofing.

DURATION OF WORK:
Start Date:                             Wednesday, November 12, 2014
Completion Date:                   Tuesday, November 25, 2014
Hours:                                     6:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
A containment area under negative pressure will be constructed for the removal process. During abatement, workers will wear personal and respiratory protection. The containment area will be clearly marked and should not be entered unless a situation posing an Immediate Danger to Life and Health (IDLH) occurs, and if possible, this entry should be made with personal and respiratory protection.

There may be slight noise disturbance.

To accommodate renovations, representatives from TMC Environmental Services will remove 500 square feet of vinyl asbestos floor tile and associated adhesive.

Hours:                                       7:00am- 3:30pm

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The work area will be clearly marked, demarcated with yellow “Caution, Do Not Enter” tape as well as this notice during the activity. Removal will take place under negative pressure. During removal workers will wear personal and respiratory protection and will use engineering controls. The work area should not be entered unless a situation posing an Immediate Danger to Life and Health (IDLH) occurs, and if possible, this entry should be made with personal and respiratory protection.

removing one Asbestos lab top and adhesive assoc. with a chalkboard.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The material will be removed within a mini-containment and a high efficiency vacuum will be
utilized to provide the containment with negative pressure. During abatement, workers will
wear personal and respiratory protection. The work area will be demarcated with yellow
barricade tape, and posted with an asbestos “Danger” sign as well as this notice during the
activity. Entry to this area should be limited to authorized personnel unless a situation posing
an Immediate Danger to Life and Health (IDLH) occurs, and if possible, this entry should be
made with personal and respiratory protection.

Noise from the negative air machines and vacuum trucks can be expected.

TMC Environmental will remove 232 Square Feet of Vinyl Asbestos Floor Tile and associated Adhesive. Less than 10 linear feet of window calking / glazing will also be removed.

DURATION OF WORK:

Completion Date:                   Thursday, September 11, 2014
Hours:                                    7:00am- 3:30pm

WHAT TO EXPECT:
The removal of the VAT will take place in an airtight containment under negative pressure. During removal, workers will wear personal and respiratory protection and will use engineering controls. The work area will be demarcated with yellow “Caution, Do Not Enter” tape as well as this notice during the activity. This area should not be entered unless an IDLH (Imminent Danger to Life and Health) situation occurs. If Entry is necessary personal and respiratory protection should be worn. During removal, Noise similar to light construction can be expected.
A small tent will be constructed on the exterior of the building during the window calking / glazing removal.
